Gathering on the River is the Jamgrass Music event of the Year. Eight bands on 2 stages, separated by a beautiful 1-1/2-hour river float. Camping, hiking, rafting and a sustainability ethic on the banks of the Colorado River, just two hours from the Front Range.
Welcome Home! YarmonyGrass presents Gathering on the River, a relaxed and intimate outdoor live music experience on the banks of the Colorado, July 31 and August 1. Enjoy the best that Colorado summers have to offer - sunshine, camping, fishing & hiking - while listening to some of your favorite musicians playing in spontaneous, once-in-a-lifetime combinations. Take time out from the music on Saturday afternoon to float with your friends down to historic State Bridge for live music & drinks at the Happy Hour Revival, then head back to camp for the main event. Headlining the Gathering are "newcomers," Nailhouse, featuring Keith Moseley on bass (String Cheese Incident), Jeff Sipe on drums (Leftover Salmon, Jimmy Herring Band), and Scott Law (Honkytonk Homeslice, Hanuman) and Gibb Droll (Brandi Carlile, Marc Broussard) on righeous dueling electric guitars. We're also fortunate to have return visits from our old friends Todd Sheaffer and Johnny Grubb who are taking time off their other Colorado plays with the Allman Brothers and at Mile High to join us at the Gathering. Greensky Bluegrass, Bill Nershi, Drew Emmitt, and a very special visit from the Nershi-Law Trio are also on the schedule. Visit our artist pages for the complete line-up. Due to the intimate nature of this event, we will only sell a limited number of tickets. Tickets go on-sale to the public Friday, June 26th at 10am MDT. Sign-up for updates on band additions, package information & more. See you on the River! |
